Luxury Hotel in Ho Chi Minh Vietnam
Hotels nowadays are not just an important place to rest after a full-day tour, it has now become one of the tourists’ attractions. That’s why when in Vietnam, I made sure to visit and experience the luxurious service and panoramic scenes in Vinpearl Landmark 81. Yup, it’s the newest and tallest 5-star hotel people are talking about.
Don’t get me wrong, Vietnam is a natural beauty. It made me easily reconnect with nature because of the wonderful things it allowed me to see and feel. Just like the time I had in Thanh Hoa, a home to many animal and plant species, and a reservoir of rich Vietnamese history, art and culture. It was one of the best places in the world!
That said, modern destinations such as Vinpearl Landmark 81 ( check rates and availabiltiy here) magnifies the aesthetic features of Vietnam. Why? Because of the following reasons:
1.Amazing Breakfast Views
They say, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I was reminded of that though as a buffet of high-end cuisines prepared by high class chefs in Vietnam welcomed me at the 66th floor. But what’s more interesting is that they also made sure your eyes are appetized and fed from the spectacular views. You can see almost everything in Saigon from up there! It is like looking at a miniature of the city. It instantly started my day right even before I touched my food. You’ll get amazing food and amazing scenery, a real treat.
2.Wonderful Jacuzzi Views
Who says you cannot relax in the city? You’ll forget that thought as you try their full-service spa (Akoya Spa). It features a beauty salon, separate steams, foot massage area, and treatment rooms. Here’s more! It has a sauna and Jacuzzi for male and female guests. During our stay there, the girls and I tried the Jacuzzi in the female locker. The Jacuzzi alone is calming and superb, but the views, they are just so amazing! I can’t help but be awed every now and then. It’s like looking at a photo taken by a professional photographer, only that it is moving and live. I say, one of the best spas in Asia. I would definitely spend time there just to relax and unwind.
3. The Infinity Pool
We’ve seen a lot of infinity pools already, but this one gives you a more luxurious feels. The pool stretches at 1000 square meters (width) and is strategically nearby Saigon River. It is located at the 47th floor and is called the Infinity Edge Pool.
When we tried it, we can’t help but be astonished by the view and the waters, since it reflects the sky beautifully. It’s also one of the best places in the hotel to relax and enjoy. At certain angles, it is like you are swimming in a lake. I just wish that it had a heater though because I was really cold.
4.The Bars
If you are in the infinity pool, it would be hard to miss the bar called the Blu Pearl Bar. It offers cocktails and snacks. Unlike the typical bars, Blu Pearl has an elegant design with a world-class service, you can expect this for being at a 5-star hotel.
Aside from Blu Pearl, they also have Ice & Spicebar Saigon at the 74th floor. The place caters only a few people, around 60 to 70, I guess, but it was decorated romantically and uniquely. It is ornamented with glass figures, which looks like ice sculptures. You can have a sunset session there and enjoy their lattes and cocktails. However, you cannot have late night drinks since bars and restaurants close at 10:00 PM.
5.Heartwarming Service
Aside from the view, Vinpearl Landmark 81 should also be recognized for its dedicated service. I admire how friendly and hospitable the staff are. They are well-trained in taking care of the guests to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. In fact, they always gave me everything I needed during my stay there. I must say, I am impressed with how they treat guests from the moment they step on the premises, to the minute you depart it. Hands down to their impeccable service!
6. Shopping mall connected to the Hotel
No doubt, Vinpearl Landmark 81 stands in a convenient location. So if you needed anything or wanted to just look around for window shopping, you’ll never need to worry about the distance. Vincom Centre, a mega mall, is connected to the hotel. In addition, its neighbor comprises of buildings you can visit such as more shopping malls, restaurants, cafes, and even the pharmacy.
7.Security
The hotel have this motto “Luxury defined by Vietnam.” It is the philosophy they adopt in their amenity. That motto is evident in the hotel’s security services. Almost every transaction inside the hotel, especially those owned by Vinpearl Landmark 81, involves the use of your keycard. That’s why for certain levels, only the guests with keycards can access the floors and amenities. Because of this, your staycation there is less stressful and safe.
8. Spacious rooms
The rooms are designed fabulously and cozy. Since the hotel features the views, most rooms have windows for you to enjoy the panoramic city day or night. You can look at different angles and just be awed by the wonders of the scenery.
Aside from that, rooms are spacious and has a comfortable bed to sleep on. After an hour in a spa, or in the Jacuzzi, it would be perfect to just lay there as you look at the window. Also, what makes it even more amazing is that, everything can be controlled using an ipad or a master pad, which will be given to you at the hotel lobby. So whenever I wake up, I just click it and the curtain instantly opens and rolls. That goes the same at night. I don’t have to get out of bed and lose my sleep to close the windows. I just click buttons and it closes. It’s really techy.
Also, there is a shower room and a bathtub, with an expensively looking mirror. You’ll get a really fancy bath there.
9. High-end Toiletries
One of the things I critique in hotels is the quality of their toiletries. Good thing in Vinpearl Landmark 81, all they provide are high-end, including the soap, shampoo and toothpaste. It really smells great and the fragrance is so relaxing. I can even imagine myself being a star of a product TV commercial as I use them. Kidding aside, quality of the toiletries really suits the overall first class experience the hotel provides.
For me, staying in Vinpearl Landmark 81 is one of the best experiences I had in Vietnam. It made me see Vietnam and Vietnamese people in a new perspectives. More than the memories I acquired, I cherish more their values and love for people. What a magnificent place to stay in!
