Skydiving is the most fun you will ever have it. Skydive is certain to be an unforgettable lifetime experience!  Once you start, you can’t stop, I must confess it’s Addictive!

This is one of the best activities to experience on the Great Barrier Reef.

ATV bungy jumping

Apparently, we have all heard of bungee jumping, but only a few of us have heard of the Minjin Swing, right? Wow! Bungee Jumping + Minjin Swinging is a lot of fun, and it’s more fun if you go in two’s or even three’s. You get strapped up so you are lying face-down and then you swing from 45m down to one meter in 3.5 seconds, reaching speeds up to 120kmph. Scary? Yeah!

If you are in Cairns and you have the chance, I would recommend doing a bungee jump at least once.  And if you set to drive your limits and DARE GRAVITY OR PROBABLY CHEAT DEATH! Then Try BUNGY JUMPING + MINJI SWINGING.

Down and Dirty ATV quad bikes

ATV is a great way to get dirty while having an explosive fun. A typical ATV tour is a half day tour of which the actual riding time is about 2 hours. It’s a great tour to do in the wet season when the tracks become mud, and you find your ATV sliding around everywhere.

If you like getting Muddy, Wet and having The Best Time, ATV Tours, in Cairns is the next adventure to try. I guarantee you will have a tremendous and fanciful adventure. I highly recommend it for every fun seeker. Don’t end your holiday/vacation without trying this! You will fall in love ATV.

Cairns is home to a range of whitewater adventures. Enjoy the thrills and spills of white water rafting in beautiful North Queensland where the gorges and rivers are surrounded by blossoming tropical rainforest.

Are you thinking of going for whitewater rafting on your vacation to Tropical North Queensland? I suggest you go rafting on the Tully River. This is because Tully River offers the best rafting in Cairns, Australia.

The Tully River is Australia’s top and most well-known whitewater rafting experience.

Kuranda is a charming little village hidden in the rainforest of Tropical North Queensland and is reachable on a daily basis by Queensland Kuranda Train and Skyrail.

If you’re not much of a daredevil but still like the idea of seeing the rainforest from above, you can smoothly glide over the canopy in a glass-bottomed cable car or you can pop out at Skyrail’s two mid-stations, where you can explore the rainforest from ground level.

With Kuranda Train and Skyrail, you will be carried over and through the rainforest with splendid views and sights that can only be imagined.

Cape Tribulation and the Daintree Rainforest is the abode to white sandy beaches, astonishing tropical rainforest, a unique reef, mountain streams and waterfalls, mangroves. All these combines make the Daintree so diverse and so very special.

This old rainforest of the Cape Tribulation section of the Daintree is the most ancient and primitive in the world.

The Daintree River is crossed by car-ferry and it’s considered a popular spot for river cruises, fishing, bird watching, Kangaroos and crocodiles spotting, swimming in Emmagen Creek and enjoying the Flora and Fauna.

Regarded as one of the natural wonders of the world, you must visit the Daintree Rainforest while in Northern Queensland.  I Call It Wild Jungle Tour

Among the top things to do when on a holiday/vacation in beautiful Cairns, is to rise with the sunrise on an amazing early morning hot air balloon ride. The View will ‘Wow’ You.

  1. Wow, there seems to be a lot of adventures that you can have in Cairns. I wouldn’t go for the bungee jumping or the sky diving, but I would love to see the Great Barrier Reef.

  2. Cairns, one of the incentives USANA is giving us. 🙂 And there is one more thing a person could do there. SCUBA DIVING!

I was a scuba diving instructor for several years, back when I lived in Boracay 1998-2003. I haven’t dived since then but if I am there, I would definitely do an easy dive, chill and enjoy the marine life.

  3. Literally everything on your list is on my bucket list – and the place looks great. Bungee jumping AND Minji swinging sound too scary for me, though. I’ll definitely visit it one day if i have the chance :).

  4. You’re one adventurous girl, haha. Seriouly, bungee jumping? But you sure look like having fun in the pics you shared, thanks for sharing your joy and experiences.

  5. WOW! It is so amazing to know that Australia is the paradise for adventure. Love all the things you shared here except for the bungee+minji. How I wish I have the courage to do all that including the sky diving.

  6. Wow so A really close friend has just relocated to Australia, sharing your list with her. Also when I visit I am doing half the things, because don’t have guts for the other half lol

  12. Sign me up for all of these! I love a bit of adventure – and I think the swing, bunjy jumping and ATV riding would be perfect!

  13. That is a lot of adventure activities in one place! I would be down for most of them, but I am completely terrified of bungee-jumping, almost more so than sky-diving. I would jump at the chance to explore the Great Barrier Reef or do some white water rafting. Sign me up!

  14. What a selection of amazing things to do! Albeit, a few are too crazy for me. I would LOVE to visit the Great Barrier Reef and snorkel/dive there. That would be my top pick, but would also want to try a few other things like ATV and going deep inside the rainforest.

  15. You look like the adventurous type! Looks like there’s a lot of fun things to do there in Cairn, especially with you! I would love to overcome my fear to try skydiving 🙂

  16. I was in Cairns long ago but many of those activities weren’t around when I was there. At the same time, I was in the last week for my 6 month trip and was out of money. I’d love to come back one day and see more of Cairns and the surroundings.

  17. Oh wow! There are definitely a lot of interesting things to do in Cairns. I would love to explore the Great Barrier reef and fly on a hot air balloon. I am going to save the guide for future use thanks for sharing.

  18. All these activities seem awesome but diving at the Great Barrier Reef is definitely on my bucket list. My parents went to Cairns about a year ago and said it was an amazing experience, which made me even more curious to visit it myself. One day…

  20. Amazing, thanks for putting this togerth Karla. We’re going to Cairns for two weeks in September this year, and looking forward to spending some time on the GBR and then getting a cottage in Daintree to spend time in the rainforest too. I really want to go skydiving though so that’s definitely on the list 🙂

  21. Cairns really does have it all, doesn’t it? And amazing that you actually did all these things! I bet all those adventures were incredible….skydiving…..terrifying thought, but I think that would be the place to do it.
