I’m sure you all know about Rémy Martin—world-famous cognac made in Charente, France. And the Rémy Martin VSOP line embodies the perfect harmony of powerful and elegant aromas. Extremely versatile, it is composed of eaux-de-vie which comes exclusively from the highest-quality vineyards of Cognac, the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne.
Just this year, Rémy Martin collaborated with world-famous visual artist Matt W. Moore to inject a bold and exciting attitude into the Rémy Martin VSOP line. Bearing a limited edition packaging designed exclusively for VSOP, Matt Moore’s designs reflect both the brand’s rich heritage and forward-focused mindset and spells a new visual chapter for the centuries-old iconic liquor brand.

To celebrate this collaboration and to unveil the limited edition bottles, Rémy Martin hosted a launch party in key cities around the world. The hot venue for this event in the Philippines was at Wellington Building, BGC in collaboration with Maserati.
Together with the launch of the limited edition VSOP bottles, Remy Martin also recognized “Art & Style Icons”, artists who embody Remy Martin’s love of art be it entrepreneurs, models, designers, chefs, DJs, writers, and any other field where art and creativity is expressed. In the Philippines, three artists were recognized—Model Jess Wilson, Chef Kalel of Raintree Group, and DJ Jason Soong. These three visual artists were carefully selected and honored with a plaque and a Matt Moore VSOP bottle because they showcase the exemplary talents of Filipinos in art.
Pushing this new collaboration further, Rémy Martin launched Augmented Reality Tour or ARt (available on iOS), an imaginative new adventure of augmented reality where users become both the viewer and the artist. The app lets users redesign the environment and create their own unique vision of the world by playing with a vast pallet of 3D graphical elements inspired by Matt’s new visual universe.
These two are playful examples of what can be accomplished ARt in the capital cities of Shanghai and Paris.
Lastly, no launch is complete without amazing music, drinks, tasty treats: Music for the night was courtesy of DJ Cedez and Matt Moore awardee DJ Jason; Brilliant cocktails prepared with Rémy Martin cognac; and with Chef Kalel honored this evening, everyone was treated to bespoke dishes created by Chef Kalel. Crab Laing Croquetas Aburi, Wagyu Tapsilog Gunkan, Oysters & Smoked Tanigue, Balut Uni Chawan Mushi, and assorted desserts (Ube Tamago, Tablea Truffle, and Yema Custarooney)
So go out, see your city with a new perspective, explore it in a different light. Who knows what wonderful things will inspire you to make a difference today?
