Lub D Hostel : The Hostel to be in ( Poblacion, Makati)

When I was a lot younger, I loved staying in hostels. Now, when I go for solo trips, I still prefer staying in hostels. Of course, this time around, I am more particular about the kind of hostel I stay in. I would love some level of comfort and having a homey, comfortable environment.

Last February, Lub D Hostel opened in Makati Avenue.  This is definitely a chic hostel to stay in and they are changing the game of the hostel industry. You’ve probably heard how Lub d Hostel managed to make its visitors fell in love with amenities over and over again. Well, honestly, who wouldn’t want to savour their moment in one of the most popular hostels in Bangkok, Phuket and Cambodia that has just opened here in the Makati, Philippines?

This 233-room filled hostel will give you a one of a kind hostel experience you may have never experienced before. Just the thought that this has been patronized by other Asian countries goes to show that this hostel isn’t just your typical hostel and worth to keep an eye for. The rooms are actually really spacious ,bigger than most hostels.

Socializing & Games

Entering Lub d Hostel will pave way not only to the feeling of staying in a five-star hotel, but you’ll eventually make new friends and maybe even upgrade your social interaction! Just as about you’re enter the lobby, you’ll definitely ogle with the facilities laid in front of your eyes. Comfort is definitely their mission as soon as you’ve checked in with them.

They’ve also been creative with the designs of their facilities just like how you’ll smile when you see their elevator with graphic designs to lighten up your heart.

Location

Aside from free parking that I’m sure you’d have check first thing you’ve heard about this hostel, Lub D is located at a strategic place where you can check off the list your dream of experiencing night life since it’s near places where night life totally ignites. Lub D is located in Poblacion district and as I have been reiterating, this is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Manila.  There is so much to do and a lot to explore in terms of food and night life. You can have all this without  having to travel far away from your hostel.

Another takeaway from this hostel, which I’m sure you’ve been looking for everywhere, Lub D has machine and dryer that you can use to clean your clothes during your stay. One thing you’ll also notice from this  hostel is that it’s not only meant for travellers, it’s also ideal for workers who got stuck in traffic or would like to take a rest for a while (weekdays or weekends) since the price is affordable.  I’ve met someone who finds Lub D comfortable enough that she stays there as a midway house to avoid Manila traffic. I honestly would consider this option if I worked near the area.

  1. wow. I’m definitely interested as this place is more to my type.. I have this thing for minimalist themes and this hostel doesn’t feel or look like the usual hostels I know that are WAY to colorful that it sometimes looks more of an eyesore… And for 1800 a night? wow ang mura! 😀
