Jambu Hemlock Shoes

I’ve always believed that one of the most important, if not the most important, point of consideration when traveling is footwear. I’m the kind of traveler who would always prefer exploring a new place by foot over doing it by a car or bus. So naturally, a huge chunk of my time packing is devoted to choosing and fretting over the right shoes to bring in my travels.

When I discovered Jambu Hemlock Shoes, that problem was solved. I ordered the black Jambu boots online, and it arrived in my friend’s doorstep just in time for my New York trip. Talk about perfect timing! I fell in love with the shoes as soon as I saw them in person, and I fell even more in love with it during my travels.

The water-resistant leather boots is the perfect picture of combat boots that combine both spunk and femininity. Every pair of Jambu boots is made of vintage leather and is accentuated with suede and designed textured wool, taking your usual combat boots and turning them into something edgier and undoubtedly more fashionable.

Personally, I like that while it’s your typical lace-up boots, it also features a side zipper. I can easily slip it on and off which is such tremendous convenience when, at the end of a long day of traveling, I just want to flop onto bed and rest my tired feet. Also, a side zipper takes away the hassle of lacing and unlacing your boots every time you take them off – something I don’t really enjoy doing when wearing boots.

When it comes to comfort, Jambu Hemlock shoes earn top marks as well. The memory foam footbed of the shoes is something my traveling feet never knew it so desperately needed. The memory foam isn’t just so incredibly soft, it’s also designed to mold into the shape of your feet, guaranteeing maximum comfort. I couldn’t be more grateful for it than when I was walking all over New York City.

Like all footwear, comfort isn’t just the only factor. Durability is as much important, and the Hemlock boots are exactly that. The rubber sole, while not as heavy as most combat boots, is still very much sturdy and excellent for walks and hikes alike.

Overall, I think Jambu succeeded in making the perfect pair of travel combat boots for me. While most boots start to feel uncomfortable, even painful, when you’re wearing them for a long period of time, these Hemlock boots most certainly don’t. Thanks to its excellent quality and water-resistant design, I can wear these boots anywhere – from the concrete jungle of New York to the trekking trails of Yosemite without worrying about my comfort and its durability. The fact that it can achieve both without sacrificing my fashion style is the cherry on top.

These boots aren’t just made for walking. They’re also made for seeing and traveling the world.

  1. That is a such a cool fashion statement by you! I love boots but would prefer sober colored ones. The best that I liked about it is that it is made for travel.
