Last Monday, I was invited by San Miguel Pure Foods to the launch of their upcoming exciting season of Home Foodie.
Home Foodie cooking show will be hosted by real life couple Iya Villania and Drew Arellano together with San Miguel Pure Foods Culinary Center Chef Ms. Llena Tan Arcenas, Rene Ruiz, Rj Garcia, Martin Narisma and John Valley. It will be featuring a wide array of San Miguel Purefood products, used in different Madalicious meals. (Madali na, delicious pa).
I was so excited to witness this because cooking is not one of my talents. During my travels, I typically
just look for easy-to-cook meals from the nearby grocery to be able to save. Also, fortunately for me, most of my friends know how to cook.
Just imagine my excitement when Chef Llena Tan Arcenas demonstrated meals that are easy to cook, even for those people (ahem, me) who are still learning how to cook. I was very invested.
For this show, we will witness Drew’s and Iya’s playful and perky tandem while they assist the chef prepare the featured dishes. I am really looking forward to be inspired and learn how to make trending new dishes from restaurants, with new hacks and twists.
During the event, they served some of the Madalicious meals that you can make with San Miguel Purefoods products. These include:
1. Pata Tim with soy sauce and bokchoy;
2. Cuapao a la Banh Mi (which Chef Llena says will satisfy your Banh Mi cravings; all you need is bread, carrots, greens and purefoods Pulled pork.
3. Longanisa Pilaf;
4. Chicken Galantina with Gravy;
5. Baked Kamote (This was another surprise for me, I am not a fan of Kamote but somehow this was sweet and really good to eat.)
Catch San Miguel Purefoods Home Foodie Season 4 on GMA starting June 11, 2018 from Monday to Friday right after Unang HIrit.
Even better, you can learn more about their featured dishes and their tips from www.homefoodie.com or check out the Facebook and Twitter accounts,
