Where to Eat in Eastwood: Applebee’s

If you are looking to taste some delicious American food, Applebee’s is the place to be! They’ve recently opened a restaurant in Eastwood, Quezon City. Applebee’s is sure to delight your taste buds! They’ve also created a few new dishes to truly entice their customers and serve them the meal of their life.

Let’s start off with the Bacon Jalapeno Potato Croquettes. First of all, it wasn’t that spicy. This may be good news for some people, but in my case, I love spicy food so it was a bit of a downer. Although, the breading was perfect and it wasn’t a mess to eat. The cheese added was perfect and the entire dish was tasty.

The Southern Beef Brisket Quesadilla

. This dish is shredded beef brisket mixed with delicious spices to make an incredible filling for their crispy tortillas. I especially enjoyed this dish a lot because it was very flavorful and tasty. The sight of the quesadillas, even, is enough to make you hungry. It also comes with two dipping sauces that complement the quesadillas well.

The Grilled Watermelon Shrimp Salad is a unique dish brought forth by Applebee’s. It is very juicy and sweet because of the watermelon but it suits the overall dish with the shrimp and greens. The shrimp is also cooked with delicious spices making it very juicy and savory as well.

My favorite salad was the Buffalo Chicken. I absolutely adored the taste of the buffalo chicken. It was flavored with just the right amount of spice and it wasn’t overbearing. I would recommend this salad for those of you who visit Applebee’s

The Teriyaki Balsamic Glazed Salmon was fresh and it was a unique dish to eat. It was the perfect amount of sweet and tangy. The rice was also well seasoned. It paired great with the salmon and did not over power its taste.

Other dishes that were my definite favorites were the Applebee’s Pork Liempo Adobo and the Fiesta Barbecue Liempo. The Pork Belly was cooked to perfection with a soy sauce and vinegar sauce that made the dish to die for! Plus, the fried rice perfectly complemented the flavors of the Pork Belly. The dish had the right amount of sweetness with just a bit of sour. If I were to come back, I’d definitely order this one again.

The Triple-Meat All In Burger would be the restaurant’s main player in the game. The meat is juicy and flavorful. It is topped with melted cheese and comes in between two buttery buns that melt with every bite. I do usually love burgers, and this one was one of the best!

Dessert is always a must for every meal. I had the Banoffee Cheesecake and it was good too. The crust was a bit thin, but the filling was very tasty. The banana chips, in my opinion, were a nice touch. They brought the whole presentation of the cake together. I’d love to try more of their desserts the next time I visit.
